Hello, my lovely thought warriors and creative beings!
I hope this message finds you well. Recently, I have been posting a lot on Instagram about my travels and unwavering wanderlust. If you follow me, I hope you’ve been inspired to explore more. Traveling is a way for me to get out of my head, break the everyday routine, and to also experience new things so that I can write more stories.
Adventuring, vacationing, wanderlust – we all call traveling by a different name. We all do it for different reasons. One of the great things about traveling (even if it’s just down the street for a staycation) is that you’re opening yourself up to new ideas and that, my friend, is what living free is all about for me.
When I added the LIVE FREE category to my website, my goal was simple. I wanted to write on topics that inspire you to think outside the box, move with an open heart, and resist being tethered too long in one place. The idea wasn’t to imply that everyone can travel to exotic locations once a month. Wouldn’t that be nice?
No, the inspiration behind the live free category was simply to spark a little fire under the butts of those of you who seek to explore more and gain a deeper relationship with our beautiful world. I’ll be posting budget-friendly vacation ideas, tips for finding adventures that are off the beaten path, and other travel-related posts and stories. And, since I am a writer of fiction and truth, I’m sure some of my adventures are going to inspire some short stories.
First up, though, is an article I recently wrote for MindfulnessGreen.com. It’s titled 4 Ways to Enjoy a Mindful Vacation. If you’re a Type-A vacationer like myself ( you know who you are . Â . Â . always planning every detail, finding it hard to relax in the moment), check it out here. Hopefully, we can learn to LIVE FREE and relax together.
Going somewhere fun this summer? I’d love to hear about your experience. Leave a comment and tell me all about it.
