Hello, friends!
I am busy working on some new fiction, but wanted to take a break to share some exciting news with you. Two years ago, I wrote a short story called, Gracie’s Gift. It was published in Legacy, An Anthology by Velvet Morning Press. Recently, I got the right’s back to this story, and I wanted to share it with you.
I loved writing this sweet story because it was something endearing and relatable.
What will you leave behind for those you love when you’re gone?
I’m sure we’ve all thought about this at some time.
Another reason I love this story so much is that its set on the Georgia coast. I may be a Midwest girl, but during my childhood I spent many summers on the shores of Jekyll Island watching the waves roll in and listening to stories about my great-grandparents and their time on the island. I like to think of myself as an honorary Georgia Peach!
As a special thank you to all my readers, I’d like to share this story with you for free. You can download it here or click the image below. Â When you click the image, you’ll be taken to a site called BookFunnel where you’ll find a description of the story and instructions on how to download it.
Thank you so much for allowing me to tell you stories. I am honored and blessed.
Love,
Piper
